A solution in line with current
trends of cable reduction using serial buses and
distributed electronics specifically adapted for
use in lifts noisy environments, covering
market requirements from 1 to 6 cars and from
2 to 32 stops working non-collective, down, up
or full collective.
The control panels
based on the HIDRA System include a Central Unit,
a power interface and the power elements for specific
models (contactors, VVVF, etc.). The number of
terminals is independent from the number of stops
simplifying the installation work and making the
controller installation easier.
In the HidraClassic
version, the Central Unit is formed with rack-mounted
PCB boards allowing the control a battery of up
to 3 lifts (1 to 3 lift batteries). Additionally,
the MultiHidra link can converts two batteries
of 3 lifts into a single battery of six lifts
(2 to 6 lift batteries).
In the MiniHidra version,
the Central Unit is an alone-plate that controls
a single lift. An upcoming new generation of these
plates will include the MultiHidra link to form
batteries for several lifts.
The power interface
is formed by one or several plates, depending
on the model, with the task of adapting the control
input/outputs to the voltages and isolations required
in all industrial environments and, specifically,
accomplishing the EN 81-1/2 standards. This interface
receives all the control and safety inputs and
outputs of the lift.
The user interface
is the main difference with other conventional
systems of control. This interface is formed by
the Hidra Bus and a variable number of modules
connected to it and distributed in the shaft and
on the car.
These modules bring electronics
closer to the elements employed by lift users
(buttons, lights, indicators, speakers, etc.),
simplifying their connection and reducing the
number of wires and their length. In addition,
the 4 available module types (PLR, DMR, VSR
and SAR) cover the most requirements of any
modern installation and allow easy modernisation
of old installations.
In
the shaft: The Hidra System user interface
allows a wide range of possibilities, from a PLR
module for connecting the buttons and call acceptance
indications of 8 floors (one button and one light
per floor), to one PLR module per floor for connecting
the elements pertaining to each floor (up and
down buttons and lights, hall lanterns arrows,
keyswitches, acoustic arrival indicators, etc.)
and DMR graphic displays.
In
the car: A PLR module will be required
every 8 call buttons and call acceptance lights.
Additional modules will be used depending on the
performance required by each lift.
The different options of the user and power interfaces,
along with the software of control of the Central
Unit (HidraClassic or MiniHidra) and its constant
evolution, give like result an extremely flexible
assembly of control panels for all type
of lifts, with different speeds, types of collection
and heights of buildings and with a modular philosophy
that every time a greater presence in any modern
installation has.
