    Carlos Silva, S.A. It was established in 1964, as a company dedicated to electrical installations.
    
    In 1975 he began his career as an engineering dedicated to the development of lift controllers.
    
    Currently we are an engineering exclusively dedicated to the development, customization and manufacture of solutions, and specific peripherals, for the vertical transport of people and cargo.
    
    We have an international geographical scope with presence in the 5 continents.
  - History
    1964 Foundation, we started with installations and electrical panels
    1969 Carlos Silva S.A. Start your activity in Barcelona with your first lift controller, with relays.
    1975 We start with applied engineering in elevators.
    1989 Start of the development of the HIDRA system in our second headquarters located in Premia de Dalt (600m2).
    1992 The first HIDRA lift controller is installed in rack configuration (up to 3 cabins).
    1995 The first HIDRA controller was installed with CCP10 (PLC board)
    1996 It begins to commercialize lift controller with modular shaft wiring.
    1997 Start of the development of the KDT controller series (HomeLift / Cargo Platform).
    1998 The first KDT controller are installed in, both, Sirius (people) and Cargo (goods only) configurations.
    1999 Change of headquarters to Vilassar de Mar (2400m2)
    2000 The first HIDRA controller is installed with CCP20 (up to 10 cabin groups)
    2002 Start of the development of the SARLink application of remote management of elevators by the Conmuted Telephone Network
    2004 Change of headquarters to Vilassar de Dalt (4000m2)
    2004 First installations using the SARLink remote management application
    2007 Start of the development of HIDRA Crono
    2011 The first HIDRA Crono is installed
    2014 Start of the development of the M2CS web platform for remote monitoring / management of lifts.
    2015 Start of development of the IoT ARM 1.0 (M2CS) telemetry module for the remote access of lifts, via Internet GPRS / 2G / Ethernet networks.
    2016 Start of development of the KDT Evo.
    2016 Start-up of the M2CS web platform for elevator management with HIDRA Crono controllers.
    2018 Expansion of the M2CS web platform to elevators with HIDRA Classic and KDT Evo control.
    2018 The first KDT Evo is installed.
    2019 Start-up of the expansion of M2CS to elevators with HIDRA Classic and KDT Evo control.
    2019 Development of the IoT ARM 2.0 module, widening its use to GPRS / 2G / 3G / 4G NB IoT / Ethernet networks.
